Rates & Information for EFL Students: Summer 2015

Accommodation Information
Many of Georgetown's on-campus residential facilities have been fully renovated in the past few years. Earlier arrival dates or later departure dates are not offered. Georgetown full summer school students can be housed in the same room/apartment/townhouse as Georgetown student interns. The air-conditioned accommodations are comfortable, convenient, and economically priced.

Residence Hall room sizes and layouts vary. Each room is furnished with a bed, a desk with hutch and a chair for each resident. Bookshelves, drawers, and closets are built-in in each room. Rooms are carpeted. Each room is air-conditioned and has its own temperature control.

On-campus apartment/townhouse sizes and layouts vary. Each apartment/townhouse contains two to three bedrooms, a living room and dining area, a bathroom, a full kitchen, which includes a refrigerator, freezer, over/stove, and sink with garbage disposal. Some refrigerators may not be full-sized. Some apartments may have built-in bunk beds and furniture. All apartments/townhouses are carpeted and air-conditioned.

Residence Hall Rooms and Apartments/Townhouses are not equipped with:

  • Wastepaper baskets
  • Microwaves
  • Televisions
  • Telephones

Payment Information

  • Space is reserved on a first-come, first served basis.
  • Full payment is required when submitting the Occupancy Agreement. Forfeit 20% of the total charges if your written cancellation arrives to the Office of Summer and Conference Housing by 5:00 pm on March 27, 2015. Forfeit 50% of the total charges if your written cancellation arrives after 5:00 pm on March 27, 2015 until 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date as stated on the Occupancy Agreement. Forfeit 100% of the total charges if you cancel after 24 hours prior to your arrival date.

Occupancy Agreement
  • Review all of the information on this page CAREFULLY.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to live in Georgetown University housing during the summer. Exceptions are made only for incoming Georgetown University students who are required to take summer courses for credit as a condition of their matriculation for the fall semester. Under those circumstances, written documentation from a University Official must be provided with the Occupancy Agreement. High School students must be part of a program sponsored by the School for Continuing Studies.
  • Incomplete Occupancy Agreements will be returned without being processed. The Office of Summer and Conference Housing will email confirmation of receiving your Occupancy Agreement within two weeks after the receipt of the Occupancy Agreement.
  • You will receive your building assignment and arrival instructions approximately four weeks prior to your arrival to campus; with room assignments provided upon arrival. To ensure a smooth check-in, verify that your charges are paid in full prior to your arrival if you sent your payment close to the arrival date. Without full payment, check-in will not be permitted.
