Dear students,

Each year, Georgetown's Residence Hall Offices (RHOs) receive, log and distribute tens of thousands of packages for campus residents

We are pleased to announce that, when you arrive back on campus for the fall semester, you will be able to sign for your packages on your smartphone.

Emails notifying you that you have a package in the RHO will include a link to a web page on which, having signed in with your netID, you can check out your packages. You can see a sample of the check-out screen here:

We will continue to provide a provision for signing out a package if you do not have your phone with you, and for students who do not have a smartphone.

We are offering this service to you as part of our efforts to cut down on waste and improve efficiency of RHOs.

Sincerely,

The Office of Residential Living
