Dear _________:

After dividing applications received for single rooms by gender and weighting by selection points, we applied a random order to the applications. We then generated one selection order for males and one for females.

You received selection number: {selection number}

Your selection number does not permit you to select a single room, since the cutoff point was selection number {cut-off number}. You will be on a wait list for a single room if any vacancies occur. As vacancies occur, we will notify students who remain on the singles wait to offer space in single rooms even if you have selected another residence.

To remain eligible for a single, you MUST select another space to occupy while you remain eligible. Students who let their eligibility expire will be skipped as single room vacancies occur. Students to whom we are able to offer single rooms will be notified via their @georgetown.edu email account.

You may apply for apartments or double occupancy residence hall rooms. Please see the Housing Selection Handbook for the application schedule for these phases of selection.
