Dear Georgetown Student:

Your housing assignment for the 2009-2010 academic year is now online and can be found under the link "Housing-at-a-Glance" at http://housing.georgetown.edu/academic/. Please do not contact us to request phone numbers of your roommates. This is confidential information which we are not allowed to release. If the student has a listed number, you may be able to reach him/her through the long distance directory assistance.

Fall Arrival Information - Returning students are scheduled to arrive no earlier than Sunday, August 30, 2009. RHOs will be open Sunday, August 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you have any questions or problems which the RHOs cannot handle, you may contact the Office of Housing Services, which will be open on Sunday, August 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in addition to our regular weekday hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There will be a limited number of carts available to assist in your move-in. Please see your "Housing-at-a-Glance" page for reservation information.

Early Arrival of Students in Special Programs - G.U. departments were to have submitted to the Office of Housing Services by the middle of July the names of any students whom they are asking to return to campus earlier than the scheduled move-in dates. The department requesting early arrival will contact you directly to advise you of approval status and check-in procedures. Please direct all inquiries concerning the specifics of your arrival date to the department from which you received approval. For any other questions or concerns, please contact Housing at campushousing@georgetown.edu. Only those students who are approved for early arrival will be allowed to check in prior to the scheduled arrival times stated above. You should be aware, however, that painting, cleaning, construction, lock changes, etc. will still be in progress. We cannot guarantee that all rooms will be ready until the normally scheduled opening of the residence halls. If approved to arrive early, you may be assigned to temporary housing until your room is ready. Please take care to secure your valuables; the University is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal property.

Please make your travel plans in accordance with the schedules above since the RHOs will not be open to issue keys at other times. If you need to send any personal belongings, we encourage you to have them arrive after you have settled in. Please use the following formats for letters and packages:
