Dear Georgetown Rising Juniors and Seniors,
Make the top housing choices on campus your reality instead of dreaming of what it would be like to live in one! Entering InterHall's Annual Upperclassmen Housing Raffle can improve your chances of landing the housing option you want.
InterHall will be selling raffle tickets for a university-owned townhouse, a Nevils apartment, a Village A apartment, a Henle apartment, an Alumni Square apartment, a Copley suite, an LXR single and a Southwest Quad single. There will be a separate raffle for each housing unit, making it eight in total.
As the winner, you will not only be allowed to choose whichever unit in the complex you want (ONLY the LXR single and Southwest Quad single are pre-designated), but you will also be granted eligibility in the case that you were originally ineligible for on-campus housing for next year. As the winner, you will be able to choose your own roommates, all of whom must already have eligibility for on-campus housing.
In order to ensure fairness, there will be a six ticket limit per person for each individual raffle. Each ticket will cost only two dollars! The proceeds of the raffle will be used by InterHall to continue promoting residential living at Georgetown through programming, sponsorships and advocacy for the student body.
Tickets will be sold at the following times:
In the Leavey Center (Right outside of Uncommon Grounds) -
October 26th (Monday) through October 30th (Friday), 11am-3pm
NOTE: GoCard transactions are accepted at our Leavey Center location!
In Village C East –
October 26th (Monday), 6pm-8pm
In the Southwest Quad (McCarthy Lobby)–
October 27th (Tuesday), 6pm-8pm
In East Campus (In the LXR Lobby) –
October 28th (Wednesday), 6pm-8pm
In Copley Hall –
October 29th (Thursday), 6pm-8pm
In the Southwest Quad (Kennedy Lobby)–
October 30th (Friday), 6pm-8pm
The raffle drawing will be at 8pm on Sunday, November 1st in Leavey Center’s Sellinger Lounge (outside of Uncommon Grounds). You can purchase last minute tickets an hour before the drawing.
