Dear {student name}:

After grouping all applications received by average group points, then applying a random number, we generated a selection order for apartments, townhouses or Copley suites selection.. We are pleased to inform you that you are eligible to select one of these spaces. Selection will take place online on Saturday, November 7, 2009. The Group Sponsor will be the only person allowed to select and enter the selection system.

Your selection number is: {selection number}
Your selection time on Saturday is: {selection time}

Selection will be among apartments, townhouses and Copley suites. Please see your Housing-At-A-Glance page to see available spaces. Please be aware that space availability is subject to change.

Note to students considering selecting either 3517 or 3519 Prospect Street: These residences have been designated for use as a potential isolation space in the event of an infectious public health need. Students assigned to these residences will be required to vacate the space if required. In the event of such an emergency, students may be provided little notice to move but will be provided with assistance to relocate to available vacancies in campus housing.

Students are advised to thoroughly read the written description of the selection system at http://housing.georgetown.edu/academic. Be sure to pay special attention to the Time Issues, Browser Requirements, Performance Tips and Disclaimers sections.

Students are also encouraged to familiarize themselves with the operation of the selection system by working with the online selection system demonstration, linked from your Housing-at-a-Glance page.

Students who are uncomfortable making their selection online on their own on Saturday may report to the Housing Office in 103 Harbin Hall thirty minutes before the designated selection time for assistance. The Housing Office will be open 9am until 1 pm.

Please contact the Housing Office if you have questions about this information.
