Dear G.U. Rising Sophomores,
Make the dream of living in that apartment or single a reality! It's possible with the Ninth Annual InterHall Freshman Housing Raffle. Let us up your chances at scoring the room you've been waiting for. Wouldn't you like to be in a Village A apartment as a sophomore?
InterHall will be raffling off a Village A unit, a Henle unit, an Alumni Square unit, a Copley suite, an LXR single, and a Southwest Quad single. There will be a separate raffle for each housing unit, making six (6) in total. All you have to do is buy a ticket.
Being the winner obviously has a lot of perks. You will be one of only a select few sophomores living in premier on-campus housing. Also, you will be able to choose your own roommates. Yes you actually get to pick who you live with! (as long as they are all already eligible for on-campus housing)
We do have some rules in order to ensure a fair raffle and to help keep individuals from going broke. Each person may only purchase six (6) tickets for each of the 6 lotteries. Tickets cost only two (2) dollars and the proceeds of the raffle will be used by InterHall to continue to promote a positive residential experience here at Georgetown through programming, sponsorships, and advocacy for the student body.
Tickets will be sold at the following times and locations:
- January 28-February 1: 11am - 3pm in Leavey (outside the Book Store)
- January 28th: 5pm-7pm in the New South Lobby
- January 30th: 5pm-7pm in the VCW Lobby
- January 31st: 5pm-7pm in the Darnall Lobby
- February 1st: 5pm-7pm in the Harbin Lobby
- February 3rd: 5pm- 9pm in Alumni Lounge
- February 4 - February 7: 11am - 3pm in Leavey (outside the Book Store)
- February 4th: 5pm-7pm in the Harbin Lobby
- February 5th: 5pm-7pm in the Darnall Lobby
- February 6th: 5pm-7pm in the New South Lobby
- February 7th: 5pm-7pm in the VCW Lobby
- February 7th: 8pm-10pm in Alumni Lounge
