Dear G.U. Rising Juniors and Seniors,
Make the dream of living in that apartment or single a reality! It's possible with the Ninth Annual InterHall Housing Raffle. Let us up your chances at scoring the room you've been waiting for.
InterHall will be raffling off a university-owned townhouse, a Nevils unit, a Village A unit, a Henle unit, an Alumni Square unit, a Copley suite, an LXR single, and a Southwest Quad single. There will be a separate raffle for each housing unit, making eight (8) in total. All you have to do is buy a ticket.
Being the winner obviously has a lot of perks. Not only will you be allowed to choose whichever unit in the complex you want, but will also be granted eligibility in the case that you were originally ineligible for on-campus housing for next year. Also, you will be able to choose your own roommates. Yes you actually get to pick who you live with! (as long as they are all already eligible for on-campus housing)
We do have some rules in order to ensure a fair raffle and to help keep individuals from going broke. Each person may only purchase six (6) tickets for each of the 8 lotteries. Tickets cost only two (2) dollars and the proceeds of the raffle will be used by InterHall to continue to promote a positive residential experience here at Georgetown through programming, sponsorships, and advocacy for the student body.
Tickets will be sold at the following times and locations:
October 25-26, 10am-4pm - Leavey Center
October 29-31, 10am-4pm - Leavey Center
November 1, 10am-4pm - Leavey Center
November 1, 5pm-7pm - Leo's Dining Hall
November 2, 10pm-4pm - Leavey Center
November 4, 7pm-10pm - Sellinger Lounge
